We are the "no daddy ball" league, where fair opportunities are required and favoritism is not allowed. Coaches learn to teach skills and manage teams without criticism and yelling. That doesn't mean players are praised no matter what they do, rather that we instruct players and keep them focused on making the next play.
Before going on the field with players, all North Palm Beach Baseball coaches must complete:
1. Online training courses through the National Alliance for Youth Sports.
- Coaching kids in the appropriate age group.
- Coaching baseball
- Concussions and heat stroke
2. On-field training seminar focused on teaching methods, fairness, organization, and managing player and parent issues.
3. Level 2 Florida Department of Law Enforcement Background Check.
